High Street Partners Announces New Hires in London and Annapolis

18 May, 2005 - Annapolis, MD - High Street Partners, an international consulting firm providing accounting and finance assistance to companies as they expand overseas, today announced the hiring of Katie Davies and Dena Kaye. The move is in response to the firm’s recent doubling of its client base.

Katie Davies has been named to the new position of Senior Consultant in London. She is tasked with implementing new strategic initiatives, including the expansion and ongoing management of the firm’s global network of local service providers. Most recently, Ms. Davies served as the Finance Director and Operating Officer of The Beanstalk Group in London, an international leader in brand licensing, where she was responsible for all internal operations of this UK subsidiary, including finance, human resources, company administration and legal functions. The Beanstalk Group is a joint venture of The Ford Motor Company.

Prior to her work with The Beanstalk Group, Ms. Davies was a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in London where, as part of its Pathfinder Services™ organization, she was instrumental in developing and implementing corporate expansion programs to aid clients establishing new international operations. Ms. Davies focused on meeting client’s cross-border commercial needs, including all tax, legal, human resources and logistical concerns.

In addition, the Company has hired Dena Kaye as a Consultant to focus on the firm’s signature service offerings: HSP Overseas Direct™ and HSP Access India™. A CPA, Dena previously served as Senior Manager of Financial Reporting for Ciena Corporation, a global supplier of telecommunications equipment with operations in 20 overseas locations. In this role, Dena was responsible for Ciena's external financial reporting and ensuring that the consolidation of Ciena's international subsidiaries was completed in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements. Ms. Kaye also has experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues.
