High Street Partners to Present at FEI-Silicon Valley Bank Conference on Overseas Expansion

20 January, 2005 - Annapolis, MD - High Street Partners, an international consulting firm providing finance and accounting assistance to companies as they expand overseas, today announced that Larry Harding, President, will be a featured speaker at the Financial Executives International (FEI) - Silicon Valley Bank presentation of “Best Practices for Doing Business in India and China.” The event takes place January 25th at the Santa Clara Hilton in California.

A former International Finance executive and CFO, Mr. Harding provides consulting services to high growth companies seeking financial expertise when expanding abroad. His company, High Street Partners, provides services and solutions to the HQ-based Finance team of US companies establishing and managing subsidiaries worldwide. HSP is a consultant to some of today’s hottest venture-backed companies, as well as growing public companies like Sapient Corporation and Sonus Networks.

In his remarks to an audience of CFOs and other senior Finance executives from start-up, medium and large technology companies, Mr. Harding will address expansion into India. He will touch on timing issues when entering the Indian market, the financial tools available to companies, the risks and rewards of outsourcing finance and accounting functions to third parties, legal entity considerations, statutory requirements, HR issues, effective cash management approaches, and tax minimization alternatives. He will also be available to answer questions from the audience in attendance.

Joining Mr. Harding as panelists are Som Das, President and CEO of e4e, a provider of offshore outsourcing services that allows deployment, management and operation of one-or-many business processes across the enterprise, and Fred Greguras of Fenwick & West, a provider of comprehensive legal services to high technology and life sciences clients. The firm has offices in Silicon Valley and San Francisco.
