Managing Director - Higher Education

As Managing Director of HSP's Higher Education practice, Christian is responsible for new client implementation and client management in the university and non-profit space. Leveraging his prior international experience and years at HSP, Christian assists clients in avoiding the common pitfalls of international expansion and with establishing a balance of strong operating controls and efficient process execution. Christian came to HSP from Silicon Valley Bank where, as an analyst and associate within their commercial lending group, he focused on privately held emerging technology companies and on the public technology sector in New England. Expert in due diligence and financial modeling, and fluent in Japanese, Christian has both significant experience in the technology company market and a global focus. He spent two years in southern Japan teaching English and serving as an international liaison to the local Department of Social Welfare and Board of Education. Christian holds a BA in mathematical economics from Colgate University and has passed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exam.
