In 2021, FLSmidth had 60+ different payroll systems running at one time, many of which were attained through acquisitions. They were working with too many local payroll providers and this cumbersome system of siloed information and processes resulted in a lack of transparency.

With limited internal resources and experiences, Jesper and Staci set out to overhaul the complex system of local vendors in favor of a single global payroll vendor to take over.

  • Assigned a team of seasoned Project Consultants to support the global payroll roll out and stabilization phase in EMEA. Support was extended to support the APAC roll out as well.

Optimize the streamlined payroll system further with EoR

Once FLSmidth realized the success of the initial project consulting services, forming a positive and trusting relationship with HSP employees, FLSmidth also enlisted HSP for its EoR (Employer of Record) offering.

By way of EoR, HSP supported FLSmidth with people management in 5 – 10 countries where FLSmidth did not possess the appropriate resources available to manage the entire transition process.

With a desire to reduce its footprint and close some offices, whilst also ensuring talent could be retained, this was an incredibly useful addition to the services provided by HSP.
