Paul Sutton

Paul Sutton is Director of Legal at HSP and is based in the UK. He is a UK qualified lawyer and spent three decades pursuing a career as an international litigation lawyer with large global law firms in the City of London. Paul has spent much of his time since 2011 in advising and assisting global organisations to achieve data privacy compliance, both in the UK and EU and elsewhere in the world.  Paul currently has experience of advising on data compliance in 143 countries. He has considerable knowledge of the relevant data privacy frameworks in different regions throughout the world as well as experience in dealing with local national data privacy regulatory authorities. Paul regularly advises both US-headquartered and other global organisations HSP represents on achieving the required level of mandatory multi-jurisdictional data privacy compliance and in addition advises on other relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
