Michele leads the M&A and PE sales practice at HSP Group providing both human capital diligence and post-deal support on cross-border carve-outs. She has deep expertise with mid-market private equity firms and strategic corporate buyers buying assets with international presence. She has assisted the buy-side in many of the largest global transactions across >80 countries. For private equity clients, she supports new acquisitions and add-ons to existing portfolio companies, as well as providing divestiture support. In addition to supporting new deals, Michele brings deep expertise implementing back-office administration services around the globe including, but not limited to: legal entity management, accounting and bookkeeping, tax compliance, payroll, HR, Employer of Record, GDPR policies and compliance, and other local requirements. Michele has worked over 10 years in international expansion with particular depth in employee transfers from the Seller to the Buyer for compliance with TUPE, ARD, and equivalent local regulations and the accelerating the timeline for operational readiness. She has led countless consulting projects assisting customers in determining compliant options available in hiring employees overseas (entity, EOR, non resident employer, contractor, etc.). Prior to supporting international expansion efforts, Michele supported US companies in their financial due diligence efforts at PWC.
